my writing block

I lean foward
and put my head
facing downwards
on my hands -

Acidic letters soak
from the back of my brain
and drip
out my nose

"pett. pett. pett. pett"

They "pett" onto paper
and eat at the fibers, which are
compressed and decolored from tress,
like a drop of water on material.

I place my pen
on my bed
and lean back
and my arms

"fhhh. fhhh. fhhh. fhhh."

I look upwards
and observe the light
shining downwards
onto my bed spread -

Dim blue light reveals
on my bed
a mess of blue ink
forming random letters

They scramble together
and flare, from where they are
jumbled and blurred because
acid letters ate my paper

"huuuuuhhhh"
